This notice describes how the personal data of users of armatoritaliani.com is processed, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.

2. Personal Data Collected

Data provided voluntarily by the user — through the contact form, by email or by phone: first name, last name, company, email address, phone number, subject and content of the message. For B2B enquiries, company name, VAT number and billing details may also be processed.
Email address for the newsletter — if the user fills in the subscription form available on the site.
Browsing data — IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser and operating system, referring site. These are recorded automatically in the web server logs for the operation and security of the site.
Aggregated visit data — page opened, date and time, referring site, campaign parameters, screen width and browser language, plus clicks on links and buttons, collected by our own counter with no cookies or identifiers and without storing the IP address (details in the Cookie Policy).
Data collected through marketing cookies — advertising identifiers and data about interaction with ads, processed only with consent (see section 8 and the Cookie Policy).

The site does not collect special categories of data (Article 9 GDPR) and is not directed at children under 16.

4. How and Where Data Is Processed

Processing is carried out using IT tools and, to a residual extent, paper records, with appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted HTTPS connection, credential-protected access, system updates and access limited to authorised staff. Data is processed at the controller's premises and in the data centres of the hosting provider, located in the European Union, in addition to the transfers described in section 6.

Requests sent through the contact form are delivered by email to the controller and recorded in a technical log on the server (date and time, email address, source page, IP address and proof of consent). The log is kept for 12 months and then deleted automatically.

5. Recipients of the Data

Data may be disclosed to:

the supplier that provides hosting and maintenance of the website, appointed as data processor under Article 28 GDPR;
Google Ireland Limited (and Google LLC) for advertising measurement, only if the user has enabled the marketing category;
professional advisers (accountant, lawyer) and public authorities, where required by law;
email service providers used to reply to enquiries.

Data is never disseminated, transferred or sold to third parties for their own purposes.

6. Transfers Outside the EU

With consent to the marketing category, data collected through the Google tag may also be processed by Google LLC in the United States. The transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC adheres, and additionally on the standard contractual clauses.

7. Is Providing Data Mandatory?

Providing the data marked as required in the contact form is necessary in order to reply to the enquiry: without it the request cannot be handled. Providing any other data, and consenting to marketing cookies, is optional and refusing has no consequence whatsoever on the use of the site.

8. Your Rights

Users may exercise the rights set out in Articles 15-22 GDPR at any time:

access their data and obtain a copy of it;
request its rectification or erasure;
obtain restriction of processing or object to processing based on legitimate interest;
receive the data in a structured format or have it transferred to another controller (portability);
withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out: for marketing cookies, the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page is enough;
lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority of their country of residence.

No automated decision-making or profiling producing legal effects on the user within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR takes place. Remarketing activities, where active, serve only to display relevant ads.
